The design and production partnership behind LexViola are Alexandra Viola and Henning von Schultzendorff - with the invaluable support of Edi, their Italian Greyhound.
Based in southern Germany, both Alex and Henning worked at the Vitra Design Museum in Berlin and Weil am Rhein. Established in 1989, the Museum is dedicated to excellence in international industrial design, furniture, lighting and accessories. Their programme of temporary exhibitions, often touring in cooperation with renowned international partner museums, investigates the current and historical significance of different designers, architects, artists, periods and styles.
With 20 years' production and general management experience, Henning worked as a consultant to the Vitra Design Museum Foundation. Designer Alex studied at the University of Design and Art in Basle, Switzerland and holds a Diploma in Fashion Design.
